First Week of Summer

 We started out our summer with some baptisms in the river,

 

  and at the pool,

 lots of swim time,

 a ballet performance,

 playtime with friends,

 and fishing.

Hello summer!

End of the Year Fun!

We had lots of fun end of the year activities

 We were out of school one Monday in May and went with the children's choir to Primetime in Abilene.

 I only got one pic of JC because every time I found him he told me to go away!

 John Curtis had a great end of his t-ball season.  He loved it!

 G-Momma came to visit and got to go to Sophie's end of the year Luau.

 Then John Curtis graduated from Kindergarten!

What a great year we all had!

Summer's already off to a great start!

Performances

The kids have had a lot of end of the year performances lately.

 

 A few Thursdays ago they had Dia de los Ninos at their school.

 They paraded with their class

 and did a little dance.

 John Curtis was not too excited about his class performance.

 

 Last Sunday night the kids performed their church choir musical.

 Sophie got to have a part this year.

 

 Finally, Sophie had her Spring Showcase Friday night

 Pics aren't great because this is during rehearsal and I couldn't use my flash.

 She was beautiful, though!

 

We are winding down our school year with all of our performances. Only one more week of school for the kids!

Waco Part 3: Zoo!

 Saturday morning we headed to the zoo with G-Momma, Poppa, and Uncle Erick

 The Sandlin boys all stand the same!

What a great weekend!  The kids were very sad to leave their grandparents but we're looking forward to some good time with them this summer.
