Summer so Far

Summer has been great!  We haven't slowed down, but it has been a good busy.

We've had some fun days playing at home.

During the first week of summer Sophie did ballet and ended the week with a performance of Peter and the Wolf.
She was the beautiful bird!
She said good bye to her Ms. Meghann
We left after the ballet and drove to Weatherford.  On Saturday the boys and I went to the Aggie baseball game at TCU.

The next week was VBS

The next weekend we were back in the Metroplex and met the Sandlins in Arlington.

Friday we spent the day at the Perot.

It was a great day!

On Saturday we went to the Ranger's game.

We met our youth group there, too. It was a fun weekend.

The next week Taylor went to CBF in Dallas so he took the kids to Weatherford for a few days.
They had a great time with family and playing at the water park.

I spent the week packing for our trip to Asia, resting up,  and spending time hanging out with sweet friends.

Then we were off to Asia for two weeks, but those pictures deserve their own post.

May Craziness

May was one crazy event after another.

We started our month with an amazing Mother's Day weekend.

The next Monday I celebrated Mother's Day with Sophie at school.

Then there was baseball,
baseball,
and more baseball!
It was a great season for him and he grew a lot!

Then there were some plays.

John Curtis was a pirate in his school play.
Then the kids were in their church play.

There were school pool parties,

 and a dance recital,

and JC won the math award for his class.

Then there was 5th grade graduation.
My sweet girl was awarded the citizenship award by her classmates.
She also received the presidential award.
Friends!
Sweet Caroline came to watch her 5th grade buddies graduate.
Sophie's 3rd and 4th grade teachers

Super proud of this girl!

On the last day of school the 5th graders walked the halls
and then ended up in the gym for their last dance.

 Such good Fort Concho memories!

Now we are ready for a great summer!
