The kids left for a week in Texarkana on Friday morning with Taylor while I finished up VBS. Then I spent the first part of my week painting my bathroom. On Wednesday I went to Weatherford and spent some time with Mom and Mimi and then to Lindsey's for a few days. We picked the kids up at Great Wolf Lodge on Friday and then headed home Saturday When I got home Taylor had totally finished the bathroom and it looked great.
These are the best pics we have of what it looked like before from when we redid the floor a few years ago.
And this is what it looks like now..
Pics I reframed from my Italy trip in 2001
We are loving it! Bedroom is next.

It looks really nice! So colorful and trendy!
cute! I hope Taylor is feeling better
Love it! That color is so pretty. You have always been good at decorating!
Love it! Makes me want to come take a bath at your house!
Nice color scheme! The blue perfectly blends with the white. Your bathroom looks more spacious, and the blue shade exudes a relaxing ambience. Your new bathroom look fits the bill–a room for relaxation and pampering.

I have one word for your bathroom reno: WONDERFUL. You did a great job, Alyson. The wall color is very soothing to the eyes, and the white flowers made the area even more welcoming. So, may I ask where you draw inspiration for this project?

If you’re going to renovate a bathroom, you must have two things in mind: style and functionality. Oftentimes, one can overpower the other, making the bathroom less effective. I have to say that you did a great job of incorporating these two principles, Alyson. The sink is spacious enough to accommodate your hygienic routines. The tub is done nicely, too! I think the blue wall gives a cozy feeling to the bathroom. The pictures are great design complements as well. Great work!

Woah, I’m surprised by the changes you made! You totally turned your bathroom into something else! The gold-framed windows really match well with the blue walls. The gold towel holder is a great touch too! I initially thought I was in a hotel when I saw your bathroom. But what I like more about it is that you didn’t compromise the vanity’s size just to get the design you want. It’s also great to see that you limited the paintings and other decorations. It’s not stressful to look at. I applaud you guys!

Great! The new wall paint did a lot to your bathroom atmosphere. They say you should use light shades for painting your bathroom, but this proves there really are no rules in renovations. You totally made the weighty color work! :D
