500 things for which I'm thankful....thanks to those of you who have read and gone on this journey with me. Of course I could count forever and pray it has now become a part of who I am. This journey of thankfulness I've been on has been good for my soul. There are many things I doubt, many things I question, but God's goodness in my life is not one of them. Much of my doubt comes from wondering if everyone could count 500 gifts and more. Why me, Lord? Why all these blessings? Then I remember His words...

"From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Luke 12:48.

May I give all I'm asked to give out of these abundant blessings.

My Weekend

This weekend the girls in my family went on our somewhat annual girls' weekend in San Antonio. What's amazing is how much fun I have hanging out with my Mimi, aunts, mom, and sister.

Mom drove back here with me and Dad met her there to see Sophie's choir performance at church. They both turned around and drove 3 hours back home after the performance. That's dedication!
Sophie loves to sing and did great on her little solo. She wasn't nervous at all.

Sophie got pink eye this week and had to stay home for a few days. She hated missing school, but we had a great Wednesday night and Thursday hanging out together. It made me long for summer.
