An Evening of Dance and Friends

On Friday night Sophie and I had tickets to An Evening of Dance, which was a performance of some of the older girls at the Civic Ballet where she takes as well as some professionals. Since we were going with the Bennett girls, we decided to have their whole family over for dinner. The kids had a great time playing and the adults enjoyed visiting on our newly finished back porch. All the girls ventured out to the ballet. It was at an outside stage right on the river and was pretty cold and windy. The girls made it until just after intermission before we left. It was almost ten by then and Sophie fell asleep right away. It was a great evening with friends.
