- He has the most adorable smile.
- He loves his sister and squeals with delight when she comes in every morning.
- He refuses to talk (has even stopped saying words he used to say) but does most of his communicating through pointing and grunting.
- Due to his beautiful big eyes, long eyelashes, and curly hair he has often been mistaken for a girl.
- He loves to back up in your lap to read a good book. His favorite book is Where’s Spot?
- He can't seem to stay clean for 5 minutes.
- He is very coordinated and can crawl up or into anything.
- He loves to play ball – any kind. He can kick, throw, or roll.
- He has no fear in the water. He floats out in his little ring and doesn’t want anyone touching him. He has also gone down both slides at the pool – a feat which Sophie only had the courage to do this summer.
- When he gets upset, he bites or hits whatever has offended him – even if it is an inanimate object like a slide, a ball, or the floor.
- He makes us laugh all the time.
- His favorite place to be is outside.
- He is perfectly content sitting in his stroller for a long walk.
- He eats dirt.
- Any kind of animal delights him.
- He is serious about his meal time.
- He knows all his body parts.
- He is a JOY to everyone who knows him.

And one to grow on...He is a blessed little boy to be growing up in a loving and Christ-centered home, surrounded by nurturing people who pray for him every day. Happy half birthday, John Curtis!
He is more Handsome in every picture, I want to say beautiful becuase he is beautiful but he's also very boyish. He looks so much like Taylor in the hat picture in the pool.
