We kicked off Sophie Week on Tuesday morning when we headed for the pool for swimming lessons at 10:00. Sophie is doing really well in the pool. She will kick her feet and push off the side, jump in, and go under water. However, for some reason she won't put her face in the water while she is pushing off the side and kicking under water. I've tried to explain to her that it is no scarier than going under and that is really all she needs to do before she is actually swimming. I'm hoping she will sometime before lessons are over. We've been to the pool every morning since Tuesday and stayed for a few hours. It has been fun to play with Sophie in the pool and let her jump in to me without worrying about John Curtis.
